Export History

View, save, and manage recent PDF exports from the Label Designer sidebar

Export History helps you recover recent generated PDFs without repeating the whole export flow.

After you export a PDF, Label Designer stores a local history record in your browser or desktop app. You can open the history panel from the sidebar, review recent exports, save a file again, or delete old records.

Where to Find Export History

  1. Open Label Designer.
  2. Use the sidebar.
  3. Open History or Export History.
  4. Select a recent export.
  5. Use Save As to save the PDF again.

What Export History Shows

Export records can include:

  • export file name
  • export time
  • file size
  • page count
  • local file record

History is useful when you exported a file, closed the download prompt, or want to save the same PDF again.

Local Storage Behavior

Export History is stored locally in the browser or app. It is not a permanent cloud archive unless the product explicitly offers saved projects or cloud storage for your account.

This means:

  • records may be cleared if browser storage is cleared
  • records may not appear on another computer
  • local app and browser history can be separate
  • deleting a record removes it from the local history list

When to Re-export Instead

Re-export the PDF when:

  • you changed the label design
  • you changed imported data
  • you changed rows, columns, margins, or paper size
  • you changed Start printing at label
  • you changed Print Copies
  • you expanded rows by a quantity column

Export History recovers a previous output. It does not rebuild the PDF from changed data.
